What a fantastic turnout for our Annual General Meeting last night — thank you to everyone who came along and supported your local business community.

We’re very pleased to share that Angela Parker will continue as our President for a second year, providing strong leadership and continuity for the Chamber. Stepping into the role of Vice President is Helen Flisher, bringing great local knowledge and passion for the community. We also welcome Iain Goodway as our new Treasurer — a community-minded local business owner who brings a practical perspective and a strong commitment to supporting Deniliquin businesses — as Paula Rutter takes a well-deserved step back after her valued contribution.

Jess Kitchin will continue her involvement on our committee, bringing her creativity, enthusiasm and passion for local collaboration — we’re thrilled to have her energy and ideas on board again. We’re also excited to welcome three new faces to the team — Peter Duncan, the new CEO at Deni RSL; Jennifer Pate from Cherrywood Emporium; and Chloe Johnson from Deniliquin Veterinary Clinic. Each brings unique experience and enthusiasm, and we can’t wait to see the ideas and energy they’ll bring to the Chamber.

It’s shaping up to be an exciting year ahead, with plenty already on the calendar! We’ll hit the ground running tomorrow with the launch of our Deni Lights Up Christmas competition, followed by other fantastic community events throughout 2025.
