Chamber is encouraging local businesses to light up their shopfront in the lead up to Christmas.

Congratulations to the winners!

First Prize – Deniliquin Party Hire (see photos above)

Second Prize – Naponda Community Store

Third Prize – Wired Entertainment

This is what Donna had to say about the win in the competition

“We were wrapped to win the comp!  The windows were lit up showcasing our hire products. One window had the traditional indoors white Christmas setting, whilst the other had our Rustic Style Cocktail setting, mist fan, festoon lighting, wine buckets and our real life Santa who enjoyed a few hours waving to the cars passing by. He was wearing our very popular Santa suit that was used many times over the Christmas period throughout the community.

A customer popped in to have a pic whilst Santa was there too, which was pretty special!

Andrew enjoyed the radio station interview with Lester & Hamish on Saturday morning too, which created some extra conversations with customers following!

Thanks for the promotion.”  Our pleasure Donna and Andrew

Three prizes are up for grabs for the business owners who have the best Christmas display, with judging to take place next Friday afternoon.

“We realise it’s a bit late notice but we’d like to see a real Christmas theme emerge this week, especially in our CBD.”

“We want local shoppers and the many visitors to our town over the Christmas and New Year period to be greeted with a festive shopping experience with some inviting and inventive shopfront displays.

“We are certainly encouraging our members to get involved.”

The business judged to have the best shopfront display will receive a Deni Gift Card loaded with $800, second prize  will receive a $500 advertising package from the Pastoral Times and third place will receive a $500 advertising package from Ace Radio 2QN The Edge – now that is amazing!

All you need to do is register your business with the Chamber by emailing Janet at admin@deniliquinchamber.com.au with your name, business address and a snapshot of what your Christmas Lights will look like or the theme you are going with…

The Christmas Lights Competition is proudly sponsored by Elders Residential Real Estate, the Pastoral Times and Ace Radio 2QN The Edge.  Thank you!
