Experience the Thrill of Country Racing in the Heart of the Riverina

Held every Anzac Day and Caulfield Cup Day, Deni hosts two of the premium country race meetings in southern NSW. These meetings are highlights in Deniliquin’s tourism calendar and provide an opportunity for both town and farming communities to come together and enjoy what’s best about true country race days.

Marquees are situated on a grassed hill overlooking the track making it an ideal setting to hire for social functions. There’s an undercover betting shed and a 2000 metre turf racetrack which is popular with entering trainers.

Over the years some top class horses have had their initiation racing in Deniliquin. These include Craftsman, Paignton, Commission Red, Sir Boom, to name a few.

There’s free entertainment for the kids, Fashions on the Field, corporate marquee, marquees for hire, TAB and local bookmakers, grandstand viewing, big blue skies and a great country atmosphere.
