Edward River Council is the local government authority for Deniliquin and surrounding towns and villages, providing essential services, infrastructure and community facilities across the region. Established in 2016, Council supports a population of around 9,000 people and plays a key role in maintaining roads, water and waste services, public spaces and community assets, while also supporting local businesses, events and economic development. As a customer-focused organisation, Edward River Council works to enhance liveability, encourage growth and ensure a sustainable future for the Edward River region.
